Walk. Rejoice. Glorify. Repeat.

For those who have perhaps begun following the “Daily in the Word” group posts via the blog instead of my Facebook page:

“He had still one other, a beloved son. Finally he sent him to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ But those tenants said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’”

inhisstepsWhy would we expect preferential treatment from the adversary, or from those who do his bidding? There was no such thing shown toward the Savior.

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death” Phil. 3:10

“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.” 1 Peter 4:12-14

Be sure He is glorified. That is all. Rejoice that you are privileged to walk in His footsteps…and glorify Him as you do so.
