Tired of Shallow, Syrupy Women’s Studies?

Pastor Chris Anderson is offering a new resource, entitled “Gospel Meditations for Women.”  It is a month-long study (so very doable, and I suspect it could be stretched out over time for more lengthy consideration in a discussion group) that he wrote in partnership with associate, Joe Tyrpak.  I asked him about his motivation behind writing a study for women (how many men do you know who author material geared toward us?;) ), and he said:

A couple things, Diane. First, the desire to pastor the ladies in our own assembly. Second, the relative scarcity of intentionally biblical ladies’ resources.

I say “Amen” to that!  More here, including some testimonials.

If you want to take a peek inside, go here.  And when you see how much you like it, you can order here!

I am excited to check it out!

  1. AND…before you get all “what could a man know about writing a woman’s devotional book” (sheesh)…I have found Bro Chris to be skillful in the Word, as well as intuitive and observant. Which brings me to my second point. Not only is he privileged to be married to a fine lady, but he is also surrounded by a bevy of four darlin’ daughters! So there. 😉
