“Life in the Penalty Box” by Erwin Lutzer

“The desert is the place where roots go down deeply.”

“You know what God is doing?  He’s chipping away everything that is not Jesus, and He’s using circumstances and obnoxious people to do it.”

“It’s not a penalty box; it’s a bull pen.”

This sermon comes recommended by my two brothers, both of whom I admire as men who are faithful and EpicFailwant to use challenges as stepping stones.  This message addresses God’s purposeful interaction through man’s failure, looking at the life of Moses.  Forward through about the first quarter of it…this was given at a conference, so you have a lot of visiting and banter in the beginning.

Servanthood, trust, obedience.  Things with which we can all relate.  Click here.
