Tomorrow I will begin a weekly post that will be entitled “Sunday Hymnary”. I am not much for blogging on Sunday (or Saturday for that matter), but I can’t stay away from great hymn texts, and this seemed the perfect day to offer one. The post will simply include a text from a hymn…probably one from my treasured collection of antique hymnbooks. There will be no commentary from me (those applauding be advised: your neighborhood is crawling with my spies). I will say that tomorrow’s is one of my very favorites. I thrills me just to cut and paste it into the post.
I can’t justify simply tacking these gems of hymnary onto the end of a post…they are too rich and noteworthy to be reduced to the status of ”addendum”. I will file these under their own category so they can all be accessible in one location. I hope it blesses your heart and enhances your worship.
